This is Day 2 of Disney. To start at the beginning, go here. On Wednesday, we had made appointments at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Anna to get her hair, nails, and makeup done like a princess and for Joseph to get his hair done and the necessary accessories to be a knight. So, after we walked through Sleeping Beauty's castle (again), we went to the boutique. Anna got a new Ariel dress while we were shopping on our first night in Downtown Disney, so that's what she wore for her makeover. They both had a blast and looked so cute!

It was time for the princess and her knight to move on to some rides before our lunch reservation. We started in Tomorrow Land at the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Anna wasn't thrilled about riding a "boy" ride, but she got into it once it started. It's pretty funny watching a girl in a princess dress shoot at Zurg and the bad guys. Needless to say, Joseph LOVED it! We had to do a "girl" ride to make up for the "boy" ride, so it was off to the Tea Cups we went. We all enjoyed that one. It's another Disneyland requirement.

After a few rides in Disneyland, we headed across the way to Disney California Adventure Park. We had reservations at Ariel's Grotto for lunch. It was a set 3-course menu with character dining. So, just before we were seated, we saw Ariel again. At first, Anna didn't want Ariel to see her in all of her princess stuff, but once we actually made it down the stairs to see Ariel, Anna was over it. She was in awe again seeing her favorite princess. We sat down and started eating lunch when 4 more princesses came to our table to see us. What a fun treat!

After lunch, we headed out to ride more rides. Anna's favorite was Ariel's Undersea Adventure (go figure). She took a million more "pictures" of this ride! We also did the Mickey Mouse Ferris Wheel, the Silly Symphony Swings, King Triton's Carousel, and Toy Story Midway Mania.

In between carousel rides, the kids got to meet Jessie, Woody, and Buzz. Joseph was still asleep for Jessie, but I'm so glad he was awake for Woody and Buzz. Can you imagine him seeing pictures of those two later on and not having the chance to meet them? I probably would have woken him up anyway to meet them.
