We spent this full day at Disney California Adventure. When we went to Disneyland in 2012, Cars Land was one month away from opening (and we had a Cars-obsessed 3 year old at the time). So that was a bummer! But this time, we definitely got to see Cars Land. It's so awesome!! The main ride, Radiator Racers, always has a serious long line and fast passes for the ride usually are gone within an hour of the park opening. So as soon as we got into California Adventure, we went straight to the Radiator Racers fast pass line and got hooked up with tickets for ride for the afternoon. We spent the day doing all the rides the kids wanted. After lunch we got to see Cars Land. It feels like you're in the movie!! And that ride is SO MUCH FUN!! I'm not sure if it's worth standing in the regular line for more than an hour, but we got in quickly with our fast passes and enjoyed it greatly!
They normally have a little 3D movie with the bugs from A Bug's Life, but with Maleficent opening at the end of the month, they played an exclusive extended preview in that theater. It looks awesome! After a day full of rides, we saw World of Color. It's a water and lights show that they do in front of the Mickey Ferris Wheel. Last time we didn't know better and didn't have that great of a view, but we're pros now and we got fast passes for better seats this year. It was such a cool show! Another great day at Disney in the books :)
