Disneyland: Day 2

On Sunday, we had reservations at Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast. We enjoyed a yummy buffet while getting to meet several characters. They even brought the kids cupcakes (yes, for breakfast) for their birthdays. Marc had gotten Joseph a birthday pin and since we didn't get one for Anna 2 years ago, he went ahead and grabbed one for her too. After the yummy breakfast, it was time to hit the park. We went straight to Tomorrowland in Disneyland to let Joseph ride all his space rides. Our first ride of the day was Star Wars Star Tours. They LOVED this one at Disney World so we knew it would be a hit here. They also both got to ride Space Mountain... poor Joseph wasn't tall enough last summer. They loved this one even more than Star Wars so we rode it several times throughout the week.

One of the things we really wanted to try was Jedi Training. They pick a group of kids from the crowd to participate and Joseph got picked on our first attempt! Yay! He did the training and then got to pick between fighting Darth Vader and Darth Maul. He picked Darth Maul and did great!! He got a certificate to show he'd passed Jedi Training. He was so proud :)

Then we had to go check out the Iron Man suits they had on display. They had a simulation game where you could dress up as Iron Man and fly like him. Pretty cool. After many more rides, including the "bobble sleds" (Joseph's version of the Matterhorn Bobsleds), and meeting fairies and princesses, it was time to call it a night. Day 1 was a success for sure!!
