A Morning at the Zoo

This morning, we met up with Mrs. Courtney and Jacob for a morning at the zoo. It was dollar day and kids 2 and under are free, so our admission was 2 whole dollars!! We decided to get there right when it opened to beat the crowd. It was a good thing we did because there was a long line to enter as we were leaving and we could see the place filling up with people in the time we were there. The 3 kids enjoyed riding in their wagons from one animal to the next. We started in Cat Alley and then headed to the Giants of the Savannah. Joseph was so excited to see the elephants and all the kids enjoyed feeding the giraffes. Anna's favorite was the cheetah because it walked up close to us several times. I think they all enjoyed the monkeys too. The monkey was scratching his head, so the kids decided to do the same thing as a way to say hello to him. It was pretty cute. We finished the morning with lunch together at McDonald's. Thanks to Courtney and Jacob for inviting us to the zoo! We had a blast!
