Then it was time for some pumpkin carving! Joseph's required very minimal effort... as you'll see below. And I was grateful because Anna's was more challenging. Joseph had a Darth Vader pumpkin and Anna picked a very intricate Belle pumpkin. Both were very fun to do!
For Halloween this year, Anna was a queen and Joseph was Darth Vader. I keep telling my mom she needs to go into the costume and dress making business because she makes some incredible stuff! Anna's dress was stunning! Joseph loved being Darth Vader, mainly because he got to carry a light saber (or "saver" as any 4 year old would say it). Our neighborhood has a house that goes above and beyond for Halloween so we decided to check it out this year. The kids LOVED it... and so did the rest of the neighborhood. It seemed Anna's entire school was on that street. And the parents were having as much fun as the kids. We know where we're trick-or-treating next year!! What a fun night it was and now Marc and I have a lot of candy to eat since it's not good for the kids :)
