Papa turned 65 and all he wanted to do to celebrate was get all his kids and grandkids together for a weekend. Amy, Kenon, and Ogden flew in from NY and we all met in Clifton to celebrate with Papa. He rented a boat and we spent the day on Lake Whitney doing some fishing and a little swimming (and eating and drinking...). The kids had never fished before so it was quite an adventure for them. The boys had no problem playing with the worms. Anna was a little more hesitant. Joseph and Anna each caught a few fish and Papa kissed each one... probably just to get a reaction out of the kids... and threw them back in the water.
That evening we went to a restaurant in Meridian and had a nice dinner. It's always nice to hang out with Amy's crew. Happy Birthday, Papa!
