Pumpkins

It's becoming a tradition now to go to pumpkin patches around this time of year. A tradition we started last year and hope to continue as long as the kids let us is to meet up with Krista, Meredith, and Jillian at a pumpkin patch. We don't get to see them as often as we'd like, so we value the time we do get. The weather wasn't the best. It was a bit foggy and muddy from some storms that had come through, but we survived anyway. Joseph's shorts turned from khaki to brown by the end of our time there. We hadn't been to this particular pumpkin patch before, but I will definitely go back. For starters, I only spent $5 for us all to get in and enjoy the pumpkins, bounce houses, and a hay ride. We went to one about a week ago that cost more than that per person... ouch! Anyway, we had a wonderful time. I asked Anna what her favorite part of the pumpkin patch was and she named everything that we did!

Joseph loved driving the trains

And Anna like the tractor

Tigger

Some of Joseph's favorites - Buzz and Woody

I should probably interject here that this place has MANY characters to see and Anna wanted a picture with each one. I didn't post all of them, but in the process of taking all of these pictures, it was a little shocking to Krista and myself how many of these characters our kids know. Does that mean we let them watch too much TV?? :)

Woody and Jessie

Anna's favorite was Snow White... until we saw Ariel (a little later)

This was funny because Anna posed with Fred and Wilma, but then looked at them and asked, "who are these guys?" Too young, my dear. Too young!

Smurfs

My little ghost

Remy from Ratatouille

Quincy from Little Einsteins

Rosie and Caillou

With Meredith on the hay ride

Ariel!

What's so exciting about jail??

Simba - Joseph's current favorite

Nemo

Anna loved the huge bounce houses... especially the ones with slides

Joseph played in the pumpkin house instead of the bounce houses

My silly babies!

Happy Halloween!!
