Happy Easter!!

We had a very busy Easter weekend! We started by driving to Clifton, TX to Marc's parents' new country home to celebrate Easter with them. The kids got new goodies and had an Easter egg hunt. They spent a lot of time swinging on Papa's homemade swing!

The next day we went to Giddings to have a big feast and egg hunt with Marc's extended family. Joseph didn't sleep much the night before, so he fell asleep just after lunch and during the egg hunt. I happened to be holding him while he was sleeping, so I didn't get to take any pictures of Anna doing the egg hunt at Great Grandpa's house... but she had a good time.

We got home Saturday night and put the kids to bed early for a big day at church the next day. We all got up early, put on our Sunday best, and headed to church. It had stormed the night before, so the Easter bunny waited until we were at church to come to our house. When we got home from church, the kids had even more goodies waiting for them.






After very long, much needed naps, we headed over to my parents' house to continue Easter celebrations. The kids got even more presents and had another egg hunt! It's been a tradition for as long as I can remember to have eggs hidden in the chandelier. Grandpa read books to them and Grandmommy helped Anna whip the cream for the dessert. Both kids enjoyed the finished product.
