Joseph is 8 months old!!

Wow! I can't even believe it as I type it that Joseph is already 8 months old. We'll be celebrating his 1st birthday before we know it! He's such a happy guy. We love watching him grow and learn new things every day. His latest tricks include eating finger foods and climbing all the way on top of Anna's picnic table to steal her food. He pretty much refuses baby food now and just wants whatever everyone else is having. Luckily, he's been ok with eating stuff that's appropriate for him and the occasional bite of a muffin or cinnamon roll from his sister.

We were traveling for his 8 month birthday. It was the annual Spitzenberger Christmas in Giddings, TX so we decided to stop in Austin on the way to see my cousins Nick and Tom and their better halves, Amanda and Whitney. Amanda did some fantastic cooking for us and even let Anna help. We had some homemade personal pizzas that Anna piled high with cheese. Tom was the keeper of the stairs... basically keeping my kids from falling. They LOVED playing with Tom and all the toys. Anna really enjoyed playing with baby Abby (Nick and Amanda's sweet girl). It was a great weekend! Happy 8 month birthday, Joseph!!
