Each Saturday in February, Joseph did Little Rookies Hockey through the Dallas Stars. The program was free and the provided all the equipment for the kids to use each week. They did skating skills and some hockey skills. Since Joseph had never skated before, he spent most of his time working on skating. By the end of the program, he was much better and even got to shoot the puck into the goal. I think we'll sign both kids up for skating lessons now!
