Texas weather kept the kids from having school today, which they were thrilled about! It started icing over last night and we knew early in the evening that they'd have today off. That meant we could stay up watching ALL of NBC's TV version of The Sound Of Music. Anna was happy about that. Anyway, we woke up this morning to ice all over the ground and happy kids because they had gifts in their shoes from St. Nicholas. Anna got a rainbow loom and Joseph got Legos. These were perfect for a day with no school. The kids and dog played in the ice for a while and then we ventured out to see a movie. We saw "Frozen" which seemed to be perfect for the weather. What a great movie!! The kids and all the grown ups loved it. The we all slid back home to bundle up for the night! We'll see what tomorrow's weather brings...
