Haven't blogged in a while... here's why:

We did some remodeling of our house recently which has kept us busy and a little out of touch with reality for a little more than 3 weeks. We put in wood floors in the dining room, living room, Texas room, and hallways. The wood paneling was removed from the living room and Texas room. Chair rails were added in all those places, plus the kitchen. The popcorn ceilings were removed, re-textured and painted. The crown molding and base boards in the kitchen, which used to be oak color, are now white. The unbearably-difficult-to-keep-free-of-dog-hair couches have been replaced with new, comfy, easy-to-clean couches.

Here's our "Texas Room" in the back of the house. I didn't take any picture before remodeling (oops) but it had wood paneling up to where the chair rail is now and carpet. The furniture is the same as before, but the walls got a face-lift!

This was the biggest part of the project... the living room! Goodbye, wood paneling... FOREVER!
