Today was Joseph's first birthday party! He had SO many friends over and had an absolute blast. The weather was perfect (thank goodness) because we had rented a bounce house for the day. It made me want to buy one to have all the time since the kids wore themselves out and took fabulous naps! :)
Anyway, Joseph started the day with his new present that we got him... the bright orange chair with his name on it. He was thrilled and climbed on it all morning until we made him nap before the party. When the party started, we feasted on pizza and enjoyed watching everyone in the bounce house, including the birthday boy. All the planning and stressing over throwing a party for a large number of people in my house was quickly erased by the smiles on my kids' faces! What a joy!
Joseph got a TON of fun new toys and made a pretty good mess out of his cake. We are so blessed to have such good friends and family nearby to make days like this so special for our family. Enjoy the pictures. We're looking forward to what this next year has in store for our little man.
