The Spitzenberger Reunion takes place every year over Labor Day weekend. It's a weekend filled with themed dinners and endless talents. Having a baby this year meant we got to stay in a much more civilized "cabin"... meaning we didn't have to walk through sand to get to the bathroom. It was actually in the same building as our room. Now, we still had to sleep on bunk beds and Anna's crib was set up in a closet... but compared to years before, this was like a Hilton!
This weekend was also special because it was the first time Anna got to meet her Great Grandpa (Marc's Grandpa on his dad's side). Great Grandpa was thrilled to get to meet her as was the rest of Marc's very large family!
We weren't kidding about Anna sleeping in the closet!
