Salt Lake City

We took our first vacation of the summer to Salt Lake City for my cousin Laura's wedding. It was at Snowbird Ski Resort and believe it or not, people were still skiing! We spent time catching up with relatives and relaxing in a beautiful mountain-side hotel.

On Saturday, we took the tram up to the top of the mountain and watched the skiers and snowboarders take off down the slopes. This was Anna's first time to go to the top of a mountain and ride a ski lift. She was taking in every bit of it! She must have known that we were up pretty high because she wouldn't let go of me once we got to the top. Marc and I then did a zip-line down a little hill at the base of the mountain behind our hotel.

The wedding was beautiful! The front of the chapel was all windows making the backdrop of the wedding the snow-covered mountains. We had a nice dinner outside followed by cake and dancing inside.

On Sunday, we had breakfast with the Bofferding family and headed back into Salt Lake City tohave lunch with them as well. We relaxed that evening so that we could get up in the morning and take Anna to the Hogle Zoo. She really enjoyed seeing the animals! She even rode a giraffe (well, it was a carousel, but it was still fun). It was a great weekend!

She would not let go for anything!
