Can you believe we found a banana costume?? How perfect for our little Anna Banana! She was a hit at many Halloween events. We started at the festival at Kenzie's church this past Saturday. She participated in her first costume contest. I'm still a little bitter that she didn't win... and to make it worse, a kid in a boring Snow White costume won! How lame! Even Kenzie will tell you that the cutest ones there were Anna and her own niece, a little Kansas State cheerleader. At least those two costumes were original! Oh well. :)
Today we stopped by Grandma's work to show off the costume to the staff and students there. Then it was back home for a nap before the Fall Festival at our own church. What a blast we had at church tonight! All of Anna's friends came in their precious costumes - a monkey, a lamb, Tigger, and many more! All the grandparents even showed up to see Anna. Poor little thing was pooped by the time the sun went down. It's tough being so cute and admired!
